What to expect with your filter clean

Labor

During a filter clean, these are the steps we follow:

  1. Turn off the system
  2. Backwash the filter
  3. Release the air pressure valve
  4. Remove the filter clamp and upper casing.
  5. Remove the grid, take it apart and clean each grid individually.
  6. Inspect filter grids or cartridges for damage.
  7. Wash the inside and outside of filter casing and drain it.
  8. Inspect and lube all the O-rings.
  9. Reassemble all parts of the filter.
  10. Test the system to make sure there are no leaks.
  11. Add DE to the filter for DE filters.

Parts (Depends on Equipment)

Most of the time all the equipment is working fine. As a policy, we replace an entire filter grid set if we find half or more of the grids broken. But if it needs to be replaced, this is the pricing on those items.

  • Full Cartridge Filter Set 420 – 520 sq ft: $320 – $380
  • DE Filter Single Grid 24 – 60 sq ft: $33 – $37
  • Full DE Filter Set 24-60 sq ft: $195 – $265
  • Full Quad DE Cartridge Filter set 15-20 sq ft: $450 – $500
  • Filter Pressure Gauge and Regulator: $43
  • Filter Manifold Outlet O-Ring: $12
  • Main filter casing O-ring: $45
