What to expect with your pool service

  • Clear communication about any problems we find as quickly as we’re able to spot them.
  • Weekly cleaning service of your pool.
  • Highly accurate chemical dosing via our app based pool chemical dosing calculator.
  • Regular extraction of debris out of the pool instead of sucking debris to the filter.
  • Consistent filter cleaning every 4-6 months.
  • Listening to your preferences and doing as much as possible to satisfy them.

We fundamentally believe it’s our role to take the burden of worrying about your pools health off your shoulders and take ownership of making sure your pool is as healthy as possible. That means we want every pool to get clean and stay clean and algae free all week long. That means if we find things causing issues we’ll bring them up along with a solution to fix them. We also believe any products, chemicals or labor that goes into keeping a pool clean, should be paid for by the pool owner. We do NOT believe in adding products or chemicals that are not needed or necessary for the pools health. We focus on a preventative and not a reactionary approach to pool cleaning. For example, we know summer is coming soon and the weather is starting to heat up, so we add conditioner to pools to help them maintain chlorine levels to fight off algae before there’s a major problem. Instead of seeing algae start to form, so we react and add conditioner when we see a problem.
We also believe in taking a long term approach with pools, seeking the long term health of the water, their equipment and of course swimmers. We’ve found this approach saves clients the most money in the long term.

How we avoid over or under dosing your pool

Test and record chemical readings into software

We test the water for chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium, cyanuric acid, total dissolved solids, and salt if applicable. We then take those readings and enter them into the software.

Software computes required chemicals

Our software takes the chemical reading inputs we entered, then gives us the amount of chemicals we need to add to get the results we’re after based on the total water volume of the pool.

Dose Pool with exact required chemicals

The software gives us the exact chemical dosing we need down to the hundredth decimal point. And that’s how you avoid over or under dosing chemicals into a pool!

Info About Filter Cleans

Filter cleans performed every 4-6 months. This range depends mostly on how much debris falls into the pool on a regular basis.

We track filter clean schedules with our software so they get taken care of on schedule.

If we find torn or cracked DE grids, we replace them. If we find half or more broken, we replace the entire set. This is so we don’t create a weak link in the system with an old worn out filter grid.

Costs on filter cleans

  • $130 for the labor.
  • DE filter grid set replacements are $195 – $265 depending on the size.
  • Cartridge filter sets are $320 – $500 depending on their size.
  • Most O rings are $18 – $25 because the labor of detecting the problem, picking up and installing the part is included in that.

Payments

Invoices go out on the first of the month. These include the services to be rendered that month. It also catches you up on products, chemicals or services from the previous month that haven’t been paid for yet.

Ex. It’s Oct 1. John gets his bill for regular monthly service to be rendered in October, plus the extra chlorine, a new pressure gauge, and a filter clean he added from September.

Invoices are emailed, simply click the green button on the email and you’ll be able to view and print your invoice. You can pay by credit card, mailing a check, ACH, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and auto pay. To select auto pay you only need to click the button below the credit card payment details and you’re good to go. You’ll still get invoices emailed to you, but you won’t have to actively make payments anymore.

Invoices are sent on the 1st, due by the 10th and late on the 11th. Late fees begin on the 15th and are charged at $2/day.

We don’t like charging late fees. If you know you’re going to be late, just let us know and we’ll take care of you.

When to not expect service

Time off

It’s a standard industry practice to allow 2 cleaning days off per year so the technician can enjoy some much needed vacation time. We’ll let you know in advance when these days will be.

Sick Days

We’ll do what we can to find a replacement if our service tech becomes sick. But it does happen to us all. We’ll let you know if no one is coming on your cleaning day due to illness.

Rain / High Wind

When it’s raining, it makes it very hard to see what’s on the bottom of the pool, chemical readings get messed up and the technician gets soaked.
With heavy winds you get similar situations where it makes it pointless to clean a pool. It’s better to come back when things calm down. You’ll be notified if this happens.

No Access

From time to time we can’t access your pool. It could be anything from road closures for road, electrical or tree work. Maybe someone forgot to unlock the gate, or put away a dog you’d rather we didn’t meet. It happens, we’ll let you know via text when these rare situations come up and we’ll be there the next week to get your pool back to pristine condition.

Lastly we believe most problems are solved with clear communication. If there’s an issue we missed, you won’t hurt our feelings by letting us know. Thank you so much for trusting us with your pool.
